FreeSurround: Software for Surround production and AAC 5.1 encoding

We are developing a software for simultaneous production of multiple audio streams in distinct modes from the same ingest.

Based on a more intuitive interface for spatial sound production, oriented to the sound scene, the software FreeSurround will give more freedom to the producer/ artistic director, or to the sound engineer/ edition technician to create/generate one given sound scene and hand in for transmission (or storage) in stereo (2.1), 5.1, and in other modes.

The FreeSurround system will permit yet a compatibility with consolidated market formats, as MPEG-4 AAC and Dolby.

Clients: Digital TV market (producers, professional studios, film-making facilities, broadcasters, and phonographic market.
